How to decorate Spongebob Cake

 Hi viewers.  Happy Worker's Day all throughout the world.
Today, I'm going to share on how to decorate Spongebob Cake using orange sponge cake.  Firstly, all you need are a kg of orange sponge cake and some whipping cream with orange flavour.  You can see how the whipping cream was beaten for 8 minutes to get the soft peak like this.


The whipping cream was ready to be spread on the cake.


The sponge cake was cut into 3 layers.


Spread the first layer with the cream.


Spread the second layer with the cream too.


The cake was fully decorated with the cream.


I drew the image using chocolate ganache.



Then started to fill in the image with more colours using buttercream icing.






This cake was ordered by Rosmawati for her daughter's teachers at SK Kota Warisan's pre- school.

Chocolate Ganache Recipe

Hi everybody, as I promised before, hereby I share my recipe of Chocolate ganache which suist to decorate my chocolate cake.

Ganache is from French is a glaze, icing or filling for pastries made from chocolate and cream.  Its origins date to around 1850, when it was invented in either Switzerland or France.  Ganache is normally made by heating heavy/double cream. then pouring it over dark semi-sweet chocolate.    Here are the ingredients:

1 litre of whipping cream (I usually use Emborg brand)
50gm butter
3 tablespoons of golden syrup
1 kg of chocolate cooking

Method:
1.  Firstly, heat the steamer
2.  Pour the whipping cream into another pot and heat it on the steamer.
3.  Add in the golden syrup and the butter.
4.  When you see the butter had melt, put in the chopped chocolate.
5.  Turn off the stove and keep on stirring the chocolate until it is fine.
The ratio of chocolate to cream is varied to obtain the desired consistency. Typically, two parts chocolate to one part cream are used for filling cakes , while one to one is commonly used as a glaze. Cooled ganache can be whipped to increase volume and spread to cover a cake.

Roll Tart Making Process


Hi viewers, it's Friday again.  My favourite day of the week as the working time is short.  I enjoy going to the night market in Taman Chempaka, Nilai every week.  I call it an International night market as we can meet all sorts of people from all over the world.  There are stalls selling the most delicious nasi beriyani gam, mee bakso tastes as you are in Indon, Hainanese chicken rice from Gemas (Lotak lotak abis) and not forgetting all kinds of local and imported fruits.  You name it..everything's there.

Today I'm going to share the process of making roll tart.   This tart is fond of everybody as it melts in your mouth.  I'll share the recipe in my next entry.  Have enjoyable weekends.

 I just use a plastic tart mould.

 Put the dough inside the mould and press it on your palm.

 Fill it with the pineapple jam.

Kek patung hujan

Ini ialah kek yang tak pernah ku buat seumur hidupku ataupun yang baru ku dengar pada tahun ini. Namanya kek patung hujan. Apa lagi cik Faezah lah peminat patung hujan ni. Asal patung hujan ni dari negara Jepun. Kononnya patung ni digantung di hadapan pintu rumah mereka untuk memanggil hujan. Betulkah Faez? Kita lihat proses mendekorasi kek patung hujan atau Terubuzo Cake ini. Layannzzz...



 Sorry, you all kena sengetkan kepala nak tengok rupa patung hujan nie... Mula-mula kita perlukan sebiji sponge cake lebih kurang 1 1/2 kg.  Di topping dengan fresh cream icing perisa yam, baru ngam.  Kemudian gunakan cake tester atau lidi (yang bersih semestinya) untuk melakar imej yang dihajati.  Kemudian gunakan coklat icing untuk menghitamkan imej.



Macam dah jadi, tapi belum lagi......
 Gunakan piping jelly yang boleh di beli di kedai kek berwarna crystal clear.  Jadi kita boleh warnakan nya sesuka hati. 

Tepi kek boleh dihias dengan coklat ganache supaya rasanya lebih mengancam dan kelihatan vogue sikit..


Dah siap deko patung hujan boleh lah dihias dengan bunga ros icing supaya nampak mewah gitu...





Ni lah senyuman menawan seorang lawyer..eh tersilap seorang cikgu muda yang baru posting, yang sering dibuli oleh kakak-kakak cikgu seniornya.  Baru nak sambut birthday kali pertamanya kat sekolah..



Ni lah orang-orang kuat SKKW terutama untuk English Teamnya. Kalau takde mereka susah le sikit nak bergerak aktif sebab murid dah bertambah ramai. Tak sanggup nak buat kerja semua tanpa di 'delegate' kan pada kawan-kawan.  Semua nya ada kepakaran masing-masing.
 
 Che' tengok apa tu?....
