Aiman's Football Cake
Aiman, my youngest son celebrated his 12th birthday this year. I organized a small party for him as his wished. We just invited close neighbours, his friends and my sis.
As he was fond of football game, so I made this pandan sponge cake which suited with the green theme. Actually this was a pandan layer cake. I baked about 2 kg of sponge cake. Left it cooled, then layered it with the nona tako's mixture(ready made flour). It tasted great especilly when it was chilled for a day. For decoration, I used fresh cream with pandan flavour and some plastic figurines which are available at any bakery shop.

Afiq's Birthday
Apiq, Ariff and Ika.
Apiq's mummy, daddy and Tok Wan.
Oh no! Where's the candle?
Say "cheeeeesee.."
I am 3 years old lah..
Apiq, is my favourite nephew, aged 3. He is really fond of Transformer's character especially Bumblebee. So I surprised him with this cake even though it may not look exactly the same. But I was proud as he enjoyed eating this cake until the last piece of it.
The cake was made of vanilla sponge cake with fresh cream topping. It was decorated with piping jelly as it was easier to draw the face of Bumblebee. It was simple but nice..

My Princess Cake
This was my first trial using American chocolate cake as a base for my princess cake and it worked. Usually I use the butter cake because it has firm structure compare to the soft sponge cake or the chocolate moist cake.
I made this cake for Siti Khatijah's daughter, Tasnim in Bangi. The cake was decorated with heavenly chocolate ganache. The doll's dress was coated with butter cream icing and strawberry piping jelly. Some girl's favourite stuffs( handbag, boots, hairbrush) were tagged at the side of the cake.
Tasnim really enjoyed this rich cake, plus she could play with the princess doll as well..simple but nice.

2 in 1 Blueberry Cake
Today I would like to show this simple cake which I made for Kak Normi's kids. She asked for Blueberry Sponge cake as her kids love Blueberry very much. I ended up with a deco for her little girl which I put a small baby doll on a block of chocolate. As for his son, I arranged small chocolate balls on the grass border.
This sponge cake is covered with vanilla fresh cream with blueberry fillings and topping as well.
It looks simple but nice..

Zuana's birthday cake
Last week Zuana's hubby came to my house to order this cake especially for her. He asked me to bake a cake with white and purple theme. So I came out with Yam sponge cake with yam fresh cream as the topping. It tasted great just like yam ice cream when it is chilled. Those roses were made from butter cream icing.
All these great pictures were taken by Amar, my second son.
